The Purple Paisley Pepper Dress (3 Ps!) was a custom order for a little 2 year old. I was asked to also make a matching sash and I think the end result was truly gorgeous. The Pepper dress is vintage inspired featuring a beautiful ruffled neck, bell sleeves and a full skirt that is perfect for twirling.
The dress closes easily with front snaps and has a lined bodice. I also trimmed it with a narrow cotton lace and included extra bands of fabric in the hem so that the dress can be easily lengthened.
Haven Dress is a simple sundress that is easy and comfortable to wear. It’s a flowy dress that is great for hot weather but can easily be layered over a t-shirt for cooler weather. It features a gathered elastic bodice with tie straps at the shoulder. Double ruffles at the hem finish off the dress nicely. The dress will also work as a tunic or a top as your little girl grows. This is a very cute and versatile dress!
When I made this dress, my husband wasn’t convinced that the colours worked. But deep down in my heart I knew it was a stunning dress and it would look awesome when worn (don’t we all have garments like that?) – True enough Miss Kallie brought this dress to life. Look at her having fun in my Pepper Dress! Continue reading Pepper Dress→
Suri is wearing my Penelope Pillow Case dress. This is a cute twist on the popular pillowcase dress. The Penelope version features two layers. Top layer opens in the front showcasing a second layer underneath. Both layers have ruffles along the bottom hems. The strap goes through the front and back and ties in the front centre at the opening of the top layer.
I’ve been following @thespectaclednewt_on_etsy for a little while and I absolutely love their typewriters (photos of typewriters are theirs, not mine!). When I saw these fabrics, I couldn’t wait to make something special. Isn’t my Peplum top adorable?
I made this dress for little Zoey in my favourite print ever. I thought she looked gorgeous! The Geranium dress is so sweet and simple. It features a cut out neckline, button closure in the back, small cap sleeves and a binding hem. The dress is comfortable to wear, easy to layer and suitable for all seasons.

I was asked to make a set for a little girl who was due in May 2015 and her elder brother who was 8 years old at that time. The customer wanted something over the top and fun, so I came up with this set. She was overjoyed and absolutely loved the colours. I wanted the brother’s tie matching, but not too girly so I worked on a patchwork effect for the tip of the tie. I think the set turned out very well – what do you think?
When I came across this incredible fabric, I knew I wanted to make something quite chic, but still cheeky. This dress style is perfect with it’s modest front and cheeky back. The full skirt reinforces the retro vibe and it’s beautifully finished with a crochet binded edge.
This is the gorgeous Ava having fun in my Ramona Dress. Ramona Dress is a cheeky little number. It is a fully lined, halter neck, double skirt with 2 rows of ruffles at the hem in contrasting colours of hot pink and grey polka dots. There is elastic in the back to hold the dress up comfortably.
The dress is entirely top stitched, with a double row of top stitching at the ruffle hems. The bodice is lined in the contrast grey material. The neck straps have plenty of length, so there is room to grow. The dress can also be worn as a tunic over leggings.
I love this particular shade of Tiffany blue. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous on little girls so I decided to pair it with this sweet yellow rose print fabric. With no elastic or ties, the Nadia dress is the perfect fit for any picky little one. Straps close on the back with snaps for easy wearing.
I was asked to come up with a really simple elegant dress for a baby girl. The customer didn’t want prints or ruffles. I thought this linen-look fabric in soft yellow and grey would look great and she loved it! The Hattie is a simple baby dress with a fitted bodice. The dress has elastic gathers in the back. The Hattie can be layered over a t-shirt or worn as a top over some leggings.
This Hattie was made out of a linen-lookalike 100% cotton fabric. Linen-lookalike fabrics are high quality, comfortable and much easier to maintain than regular linen. The dress is finished off with a simple lace detail at the hemline.
This fabric is on of my most favourite prints. I can’t seem to get enough of it! The Itty Bitty Baby dress slips on over the legs and ties at the shoulders for easy wearing. This dress is made out of organic cotton fabric and lined with soft mul mul cotton.
I was asked to make a simple peasant style dress for a newborn baby girl. I named this dress after her. The Maisie Dress is a sweet vintage-inspired peasant style baby dress. It features elastic around the neckline to form soft gathers. The dress also has puffed sleeves, rose & bow detail on neckline and an embroidered lace hem. The inside of the dress is finished beautifully – bodice seams are enclosed in an old fashioned French seam to ensure that they do not irritate baby’s skin.
The sleeves are made of a single layer of mul mul cotton. The dress section is made out of two layers of mul mul cotton for extra warmth. Mul mul is finely woven cotton that is very soft and lightweight, making it perfect for babies.
Care instructions: Gentle cold handwash and line dry.
I absolutely love this colour combination. I spent ages looking for the perfect fabric to pair with the yellow for the sleeves and accents. I think the result was gorgeous! This Bay Dress is an elegant sundress in a beautiful buttery yellow with lilac and mint accents, making it an ideal Easter dress. The dress features flutter sleeves, lace hem, a drop waist, lined bodice and a lovely swoop wrap-back with 6 snap buttons. It is a timeless style that is comfortable and easy to wear. My little model looks stunning in this doesn’t she?

It features elastic around the front and back neckline to form soft gathers. The dress also has shoulder yokes with mini ruffles and is finished off with 2 rows of lace on the hem.
I loved this rose print and wanted to make something utterly sweet and girly with it. This Amanda Dress is a classic, timeless dress. It has a fully lined bodice with snap buttons on the back. The dress also features puffy sleeves, a circular full skirt (which would also look great over a petticoat/underskirt) and a sash. The skirt is finished with a contrast binding hem.
This cheeky little girl is Ella. She’s having fun in my Spring dress. It’s super comfortable and features a high waist and full twirly skirt. The straps tie at the neck and there are waist ties to adjust sizing easily. Shirred elastic back gives a snug fit without being too tight.
This gorgeous little girl is Kallie and she loves my Ayda dress because it’s so ‘Spiny’ – bless her! My Ayda dress features a V back and is extremely versatile. The pictured version has flutter sleeves, but the dress can also be made sleeveless. There is a modest back option that covers more skin (great for older girls who would like to hide bra straps). You can also choose to add lace details in the back.
I have made a couple of Lulu dresses and it is the cutest party dress. This Lulu has a skirt that is perfect for twirling. The dress features ruched sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a ruffle trimmed wrap style skirt. The elasticized gathered back ensures a comfortable fit. A grosgrain ribbon sash finishes the look nicely. It can be made with a single skirt or a double skirt for more fullness- like this one.
